Week 3

You should all be nearing completion of the Task Models. Next week will be the last week to work on them.

Begin reading the Chapter on Sensors.

Write and practice saying a 250 word presentation on your favorite animal. Next week you will be speaking before our judges. It should take about a minute to speak it aloud.

Week 2

This week we will continue building the models. Those of you that are ready will be making your personal presentations.
Today we begin learning about sensors and how robots relate to the world and how to quantify data.

This weeks assignment:

  1. What is a battery? Write your answer in your own words. How it was discovered? When? Give some examples of batteries in our life today.
  2. If you did not read your speech in class, practice and be prepared to read it at the next meeting.
  3. Read page 11  in the Ev3 User Guide.

BONUS: Start thinking of problems that exist with how humans and animals work together and how we can improve them. Words to look up
